Our Story
Born in New York
Inspired by Belgium, Iran, and diverse cultures worldwide.
Maison JuJu was born from a mother’s dream to traverse continents and overcome challenges. The founder, Sofie, has worked tirelessly to build a life in a new country. Her determination blossomed into something greater — a commitment to building a legacy of purpose and guiding those who strive to raise grounded children.

When naming my daughter Julia, I knew she would be brought up quadrilingual: English, Dutch, Farsi, and Spanish. So I thoughtfully considered her potential nickname.
In Farsi, "JuJu" means "baby bird," a term often used to describe children at their most endearing and innocent stage. This name beautifully captures the essence of childhood.
In West African traditions, “JuJu” means magical power linked to certain objects and conferred upon those who own them. Our brand harnesses this magic to offer energy and happiness.
"Maison" is French for home, a nurturing space filled with love, meaningful moments, and holistic health.

Together, these words embody the spirit of Maison JuJu LLC: cultivating a home where healthy values are instilled and personal style is expressed in every detail.
